Good solubility in: methanol, ethanol, pyridine, dimethyl sulfoxide, dimethyl formamide
- Highly efficient solubilization agent
- Solubilization, stabilization, delivery and isolation of large active ingredients, e.g. steroids, lipids
- Enhancement of both oral bioavailability and taste masking of pharmaceutical and agrochemical active ingredients; enabling delayed release of volatile materials
Wacker Chemie AG does not recommend the use of CAVASOL® W8 HP PHARMA for parenteral dosage forms.

Storage
CAVASOL W8 HP PHARMA has a shelf life of at least 36 months when stored in unbroken original packaging in dry storage areas. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons. Storage at room temperature in sealed containers under dry conditions is recommended.
