ELASTOSIL® und SILPURAN® Siliconelastomere eignen sich aufgrund ihres besonderen Eigenschaftsprofils ideal zum Einsatz in der Medizintechnik. Sterilisierbarkeit und eine exzellente chemische sowie physikalische Beständigkeit ohne zusätzliche Stabilisatoren sind nur drei von vielen guten Gründen, diesen reinen Werkstoff zu nutzen.
Mit ELASTOSIL® oder SILPURAN® Siliconelastomeren bieten wir jeweils die perfekte Lösung für die Anforderungen in den mannigfaltigen komplexen und hochsensiblen Anwendungen der Medizintechnik.
Die extrudierbaren Festsiliconkautschuke (HTV) finden ihre Anwendung primär in Schläuchen für die Pharma- und Medizinindustrie, z.B.:
- Drainage-, Peristaltik- und Beatmungsschläuche
- Ernährungssonden
- Blasenkatheter
- Schläuche zum Flüssigkeitstransfer
Die im Spritzguss- oder Formpressverfahren verarbeitbaren Flüssig- und Festsiliconkautschuke werden u.a. verwendet für:

ELASTOSIL® eco – ressourcen- und umweltschonende Siliconelastomere
Mit der Verarbeitung nachwachsender Rohstoffe geht WACKER einen ersten Schritt in Richtung Klimaneutralität und Kreislaufwirtschaft. Ziel ist es, den Anteil regenerativer Ressourcen in der Produktion kontinuierlich zu erhöhen und das Angebot an eco-Produkten weiter auszubauen. Für WACKER ist der Massenbilanzansatz der Schlüssel zur Umsetzung dieses Vorhabens.
