For more than 40 years, WACKER Brazil has been providing local solutions to customers and partners in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
Since 1977, Wacker Química do Brasil Ltda. has served customers across South America. The site, located in Jandira near São Paulo, is not just responsible for coordinating sales activity in the region. It also manufactures silicone products for the textile, construction, paper, agrochemical, personal care and cosmetics industries. WACKER is among the largest silicone suppliers in South America and the market leader for VAE dispersions and dispersible polymer powders in the adhesives and construction industries. The subsidiary supports countries as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia.
By expanding its existing silicone production with a multifunctional facility for producing antifoam agents and a reactor for silicone fluids used in the paper, cosmetics and household care industries, WACKER Brazil is able to meet the growing demand for silicones and maintain the same high product quality.
The Technical Center in the region serves as a hub to optimize technical support as well as individual assistance to local business. The site also counts with a branch of our training center, the WACKER ACADEMY São Paulo.
To support strong growth in the South American construction industry, the construction laboratory has been accredited by CGCRE of INMETRO in ABNT NBR ISO / IEC 17025:2017 for tile adhesive applications.
