Il-Joon Choi
IlJoon Choi has been responsible for regional business development in Asia and has been the regional technical manager for construction polymers (Northeast Asia) at WACKER Chemicals Korea since joining the company in 2013. IlJoon Choi has approximately 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has a master's degree in architectural engineering. Leveraging his extensive experience in the construction market, he focuses on customer support, revising standards for construction materials, and pioneering sustainable new markets.
JiYong Choi
JiYong Choi joined Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2023 as a technical engineer in the Performance Solutions team.He has 10 years of experience in the paint industry, specializing in various applications such as organic resin synthesis for paint and coating applications as a researcher. He is now a technical engineer for Performance Solutions at Wacker Chemicals Korea.
HeeHoon Jeong
HeeHoon Jeong joined Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2023 as a technical manager in the functional additives team covering Asia, excluding Greater China.He has a master's degree in industrial chemistry and has more than 15 years of R&D experience in chemical development for rubber-related industries.
DooJin Kang
DooJin Kang joined WACKER in 2006 as a technical manager for silicone elastomers. Before joining WACKER, DooJin Kang gained technical experience in developing chemical products for display and optoelectronics applications. He now heads a product development and technical service team for automotive, electronics and medical applications at WACKER.
Chul-Kyu Kang
Before joining WACKER in 2010, Chul-Kyu worked at Henkel & Lucky Silicone from 2003. He is currently application development & technical support manager for the construction sealants and adhesives business team in Asia. He has 15 years of experience with construction silicone sealants and adhesives – including hybrid materials.
MinSoo Kang
Minsoo Kang has more than 20 years of experience in the development of various electrical and electronic materials such as silicone adhesives, encapsulants, gels, and rubbers. He joined the SI-TS team at Wacker in 2018. Since 2018, he has been in charge of SEA's silicone technology services and is developing a product lineup of silicone adhesives, encapsulants, and coatings for electrical and electronic applications.
Kyung-Hak Kim
Kyung-Hak Kim joined the silicones engineering team at Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2012.From 2012 to 2018, he developed electrical and electronic materials for automotive and consumer electronics applications.Now, he is developing silicone rubber for general industry and provides technical support to customers.
SeJong Kim
SeJong Kim joined Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2015 as a technical manager for performance silicones. He has more than 22 years of experience in the silicone industry, from organosilicones to silicone monomers for photovoltaics and semiconductors.
He now leads a product development and technical service team in Consumer Care at WACKER Chemicals Korea.Since joining Wacker Chemicals, he has been working on the development of silicone PSA.
JungSoo Kim
JungSoo Kim joined Silicone Hybrid team of Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2019.Before joining Wacker, he worked in a variety of chemical materials industries, such as conductive silicone rubber and coating materials for electronics and urethane applied materials for construction.Now he is a technical engineer for hybrid finished products for construction and offers helpful technical solutions to customers.
KyoungMo Koo
KyoungMo Koo joined Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2017 as part of the construction silicones team. From 2009 to 2017, he worked as a researcher in the insulation and fire resistance development team. There he participated in developing fire-resistance paint and testing water repellents in insulating materials. He has been a technical manager for construction silicones at Wacker Chemicals Korea since March 2017.
Seung-A Lee
Seung-A Lee has more than 20 years of experience in electronic material R&D with silicone, acrylates, epoxy and urethane. She joined the CoEE (Center of Excellence Electronics) at WACKER in 2014 and developed optical bonding material for industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics from 2014 to 2018.
She is now head of the CoEE (Center of Excellence Electronics), the global silicone R&D center for electronics.
WooJae Lee
Woo-Jae Lee joined Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2012 and supports the Asia-Pacific region as a technical manager. He has a master's degree in organic synthesis and over 20 years of experience in various water-borne dispersions. He mainly provides technical support on adhesives and coatings.
YouSeung Lim
YouSeung Lim has 10 years of experience in silicone PSA development and film coating development.He joined Wacker Chemicals in 2022.Since joining Wacker Chemicals, he has been working on the development of silicone PSA.
SeoHee Park
SeoHee Park joined Wacker Chemicals Korea in 2019 and developed PSA and SB (solvent-based) products for electronic and industrial applications.She also supports Southeast Asian as well as Korean customers as a regional technical engineer.
