Pulp Solutions

The PULPSIL^® line from WACKER includes antifoam agents specially tailored to the pulp industry’s needs, to ensure that processes run reliably and smoothly. Our silicone defoamers prevent foam-intensive production steps from over-foaming – for example, in pulp-washing, during sorting and screening, in the bleaching bath and in wastewater treatment. PULPSIL^® antifoams enhance processes in a number of ways: they improve washing results, cut washing-water consumption and thus cut energy consumption during evaporation, reduce soda loss, ensure high pulp quality, reduce pitch problems, reduce bleaching-chemical demand and so facilitate environmentally sound production.
