Tufted Carpet Tiles

In the precoat, VINNAPAS® vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) polymer dispersions bind the tufted fibers to the primary backing, provide good fiber bonding (tuft bind) properties to the carpet, and impart good wear resistance properties.

Benefits:

  • Low odor
  • Low emissions
  • Reduced flammability
  • Desired stiffness and durability
  • Good plasticizer resistance
  • Good compatibility with other system components, e.g. PVC, bitumen
  • Low tendency to curl or “dome” after installation

Applications:

  • Tufted carpet tile backings
