Since 1977, Wacker Química do Brasil Ltda. has served our customers across South America. But our South American headquarters in Jandira near São Paulo is not just responsible for coordinating sales activity in the region. We also manufacture silicone products for the textile, construction, paper, agrochemical, personal care and cosmetics industries here. Today we are among the largest silicone suppliers in South America and we're the market leader for dispersible polymer powders in the construction industry. We supply the greater part of the South American market – in particular, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay.

We are well equipped to meet the demands of our customers in South America. By expanding our existing silicone production with a multifunctional facility for producing antifoam agents and a reactor for silicone fluids used in the paper, cosmetics and household care industries, we are able to meet the growing demand for our silicones and maintain the same high product quality.

Back in 2003, we opened a technical center for silicone applications in Jandira. To accommodate strong growth in the South American construction polymers market, a laboratory for dispersible polymer powders was added in 2005. The technical center serves as a hub for South America and offers you individual technical assistance to develop new formulations.

Since 2010, the site has also included a branch of our training center, the WACKER ACADEMY. Our technical center and WACKER ACADEMY enable us to optimize the support we offer you in developing new products and customized applications at your location.
