硅油的改性

最常见的硅氧烷主链改性方式有以下两种：

  1. 采用更长的烷基链代替甲基基团接入硅氧烷主链
  2. 采用聚环氧乙烷、聚环氧丙烷或烷基氨基基团等有机聚合物进行改性。

通过上述方式，憎水性硅油可转变为具有一定亲水性的分子。

反应性硅油是由反应性基团封端的硅氧烷，其包括羟基聚合物（水解物）或带氨基基团或环氧基团的硅油。

巨乳液和微乳液

硅油乳液大体可分为两种类型：

  1. 粒度介于100纳米到几微米之间的巨乳液通常呈不透明状，即乳白色。
  2. 粒度小于100纳米的微乳液通常呈清澈状或乳白色状。

为了生产性能稳定的有机硅乳液，需在硅油液滴表面覆盖表面活性剂（乳化剂）。这种乳化剂的亲脂端或亲油端朝向硅油液滴，中间的亲水性部分则使乳液能够溶于水。

有机硅乳液通常用于纺织品、化妆品和家庭护理行业。作为洗发水的组成成分，有机硅乳液能够令秀发丝般柔顺且洗后易于梳理。此外，有机硅乳液也可用作憎水剂，保护纺织品、建筑物和绝缘材料不受水和湿气的影响。

憎水性和化学结构
