BELSIL® PF 23
BELSIL® PF 23 is a phenyl-modified polydimethylsiloxane characterized
by having a higher refractive index than dimethicone fluids (1.38-1.40). It
offers significant improvements in regards to gloss and shine. It is typically
used as a gloss agent in hair and color cosmetics.

BELSIL® PF 23 is used in all kinds of cosmetics formulations, but mostly in Hair Care compositions and Color Cosmetics
due to its shine-enhancing benefits. It can also reduce the tackiness and stickiness of organic ingredients in formulations
such as Sun Care formulations and Hair Sprays. It is also used as an emollient in Skin Care products.
Storage
Further information for storage: Store in a dry and cool place. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
