PULPSIL® 684 E
PULPSIL® 684 E is a heavily concentrated, highly effective and easy dilutable silicone antifoam emulsion especially for the use in pulp mills.

PULPSIL® 684 E is a high-concentrated silicone antifoam emulsion with a very high active content.
In general we recommend stirring the emulsion before use (approx. 3 minutes with a propeller stirrer at 200 – 400 rpm). But be cautious: too high shear can break the emulsion.
PULPSIL® 684 E can be easily diluted with water to any desired concentration.
PULPSIL® 684 E is stable and highly effective for several weeks even in low concentrations (additional stabilizer may be needed).
It is particularly recommended to use PULPSIL® 684 E in the pulp washing process due to its excellent drainage profile.
It can also be used elsewhere, e.g. as an antifoam agent and drainage aid during the bleaching- and screenig-step or waste water treatment.
When using PULPSIL® 684 E the risk of deposits is particularly low due to its particle size distribution and emulsifier system. The good drainage behavior of PULPSIL® 684 E helps to increase the quality of the produced pulp and makes the manufacturing process more efficient.
During dilution other additives can be added to boost the formulation, if needed.
Lagerung
Store in a dry place between 15°C and 25°C and protect against direct sunlight.
Minimum short-time temperature allowed during storage and transportation: 0°C
Maximum short-time temperature allowed during storage and transportation: 40°C
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
