BELSIL® SDM 5055 VP
BELSIL® SDM 5055 VP is a silicone wax. In accordance with CTFA, it is classified as Stearyl Dimethicone. This product displays good compatibility with many cosmetic raw materials including oils, waxes, fatty alcohols and fatty acids.
- INCI Stearyl Dimethicone
The main fields of application of this alkyl-functional silicone is Skin Protection, Skin Care and Color Cosmetics. In creams and lotions it improves the efficacy of the formulation and confers a non-sticky, soft skin feel. Due to its high substantivity, enhanced water resistance, and moisturizing benefits, alkylfunctional silicones prove to be advantageous components in Colour Cosmetics, such as Lipstick, Mascara, and Foundation.
Storage
The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
