BELSIL® EG 3000
BELSIL® EG 3000 elastomer gel is a silicone copolymer network blended with Isohexadecane. The product appears as a colorless, translucent gel. As BELSIL® EG 3000 is based on the organic solvent Isohexadecane, the sensorial sensation during the application and after use differs from classical silicone based elastomer gels. The gel is perceived very pleasant, light and powdery.

特性
BELSIL® EG 3000 is easy to distribute on skin and gives a smooth, light and powdery feel. BELSIL® EG 3000 provides rheological benefits, imparts a thixotropic effect and has the ability to act as a thickening agent. It also shows a good combability with a variety of solvents and is easy to formulate.
BELSIL® EG 3000 is addd typically to the oil or silicone phase of a formulation especially when formulating oil in water (O/W) formulations. In water in oil (W/O) formulations BELSIL® EG 3000 can also be added to an already formed emulsion system. The product should be dispersed well to yield optimum results, but short times of stirring are sufficient.
When BELSIL® EG 3000 is diluted with solvents, the viscosity of the product decreases significantly and hence can be easily adjusted. The performance properties of BELSIL® EG 3000 make it a versatile ingredient for various Skin Care, Color Cosmetic and Hair Care products.
BELSIL® EG 3000 also imparts a cushiony feel to moisturizing creams, sunscreens lotions, eye gels, foundations, concealers and BB creams. BELSIL® EG 3000 can be used to thicken the oil phase of emulsions or anhydrous cosmetic formulations. In pressed powder cosmetics it acts as binder.
