Primers

Example of a plaster with the primer underneath.
Primers are essential to ensure long-term stability of layered building systems. VINNAPAS® polymer dispersions provide excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and act as excellent bonding agents.
In primers and bonding agents, VINNAPAS® dispersions contribute to the long-term stability of layered building systems. VINNAPAS® dispersions display excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and good penetration into the surface. The result: The substrates are consolidated and the absorbency is controlled.
For open-pore substrates such as concrete, cement and gypsum plasterboards, VINNAPAS® dispersions with small particle sizes are available. For outdoor applications, hydrophobic VINNAPAS® dispersions are recommended, as they provide high water repellency and good barrier properties. In general, VINNAPAS® dispersions are suitable for formulating bonding agents with or without the use of aggregates / mineral fillers or co-binders such as cement.
Benefits:
- Good consolidation of construction surfaces
- Good to excellent penetration
- Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and under all conditions
- Improved abrasion resistance
- Easy application
Applications:
- Interior and exterior applications
- Adhesion-promoting layer between subsequent layers
- Construction surface consolidation
- Barrier layer for migration protection
- Impregnation of porous surfaces for protection and stain reduction
