ELASTOSIL® E91 TRANSPARENT

ELASTOSIL® E91 TRANSPARENT is a self-levelling silicone rubber with very good mechanical properties, which cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture. Curing can be accelerated in a steam oven.

Multipurpose glue and for textile coatings, e.g. antislip coatings

ELASTOSIL® E91 TRANSPARENT shows good primerless adhesion to many substrates. We recommend running preliminary tests to optimize conditions for the particular application. The one component silicone rubber can be easily extruded and cures at room temperature or steam curing under the influence of atmospheric moisture. 

Skin forming time at 23°C / 50% rH: about 15 min. 

Curing time at 23°C / 50% rH: 12 h/mm
 

Packaging

This product is available in 310 g cartridges, 20 kg pails and 200 kg drum kits.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
